Product Description
RX- 750 Home Series: Bringing commercial-grade quality to your home or office, the ProRower H20 RX-750 Home series rowing machine is ideal for serious workout enthusiasts.

The RX-750 employs an innovative Hydro-Power Drive system that mimics the dynamics of actual rowing, with a polycarbonate water tank and an internal paddle system sitting at your feet. Just like with real rowing, the water acts as the main resistance system. Want a more intense workout? Row faster. Want a slow but steady workout? Row slower. There’s no need for any disruptive mechanical adjustments; instead, the water’s “natural adaptive resistance” offers all the pushback you need. In addition, the workout is incredibly smooth and relaxing, with an on-the-water experience that feels and sounds just like the real thing.

The RX-750 includes an easy-to-read, oversized display panel that tracks such details as exercise time, distance, 500-meter split time, strokes per minute, calories burned, and heart rate (in conjunction with the built-in heart rate receiver). And users will love the easy-to-adjust, pivoting footrests, with a size that’s big enough to fit the entire family. Other details include an ergonomically designed handgrip that ensures a comfortable workout, a maximum weight capacity of 350 pounds, and a folding frame that measures less than 20 by 21 inches when stored upright. The RX-750 measures 78 by 20 by 22 inches (W x H x D) overall, weighs 65 pounds, and carries the following warranties: lifetime on the frame, three years on the tank and seals, and two years on all mechanical and non-wearing components.

I had two concerns about buying a rowing machine: first that I weigh over the 250 pound limit of most rowers out there, and second that I live in a second story apartment so noise is definitely a factor. I was pleased to find this machine on a good sale, and when it arrived I was able to put it together without much trouble (the instructions weren’t the clearest, but it was pretty common sense). After having used it several times now, I can safely say that this rower put all my worries to rest! It is a very sturdy machine, comfortable and easy to use. And the only noise comes from the blades pushing the water, so it is very relaxing and no complaints from the downstairs neighbors. The monitor is easy to read, and as an added perk, it comes with a heart rate chest strap. I used to enjoy rowing at the gym, and now I am excited to have a quality machine in my own home.

I had wanted a rower for a long time having heard alot about its benefits but the original water rower was way too costly for my tight budget. I know that many people would reccomend paying a higher price and getting the original water rower, which is great I agree but there is no way I could ever afford the cost. This for me was a lower priced more affordable option to be able to have the water resistance rower in my home.

From my first go I had no trouble getting correct form and rythm. I loved it. Quiet, smooth, fluid. You need to make sure you keep you keep your back straight and keep it a fluid motion. There are quite a few excellent video’s that can show you proper form.

I found this to be the best choice for at home fitness. I have tried them all. Treadmill, tread climber, elliptical, recumbent bike … none of them were good for me. I am physically disabled, limited stamina, Bad back, bad knees, painful joints and muscles. But I find I am able to use the rower fairly well since it has low impact on my joints. And I know that even though I can only use it for short periods that it is working more muscles in my body than any other machine. (even the recumbent bike impacted my knee joints) The resistence is based upon your own body and how hard you row, which is exactly what I needed … that the rowing could reflect the capability of my body from moment to moment rather than pushing my body to do something it cant do or shouldnt do.

As far as I can tell the display is fairly good I cant tell how well it tracks distance (I dont know what measurement is for rowing) but was surprised to find it came with a wireless heart rate transmitter. Which, so long as you wet the sensors before putting it on works very well. I had to test this out by checking my heart rate with a blood pressure cuff and it matched.

The seating is comfortable, and it seems to be good quality for the price. It was still quite a big investment for me but well worth every penny (I was able to get it when Amazon had an extra $200 off the price so that helped) But for the average home user this is a great machine.

Only some small issues, a couple times when I accidentally moved the monitor all the settings went back to Zero. and sometimes the internal resistance system sqeaks when I first start. otherwised I am pleased with it.

And did I say yet … its ultra quiet and the whoosh of water is very soothing. The reviews here almost led me to NOT buy it but I went along with my gut instinct on it for a chance and am happy that I did.

Having used the NordicTrack Rowing Machine until it wore out – decided to try the H2O ProRower RX-750. Received and set it up without incident – well packed and easy to follow instructions. They even supplied chlorine tablets, tools and if necessary a plastic shim to align the blades. Unlike most computers, this one has a very large display and is easy to use. Filling the tank was a snap, they provided both a funnel and siphon unit.

What a smooth ride – the H20 ProRower is the best IMHO

I am writing my review about 6 months after purchasing this rower. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase, but felt compelled to write my belated review only after experiencing an issue with the equipment and getting great customer service. First of all, I must say that this is one sturdy piece of equipment that is very easy to assemble and set up. I am a novice rower, but quickly learned how to use the equipment and found the workouts to be extremely satisfying. I was amazed at how complete the workout felt after only 15-20 minutes. My only vice is that the display seems a little cheap, but I really only use the timer and HR monitor and they both work just fine.

I was gradually working my way up to longer work outs, when I experienced a break in the bungee cord that provides tension on the pulley that collects the row belt. The cord became pinched and ultimately snapped. The company provides a 2 year warranty, so I sent an email on a Sunday afternoon and got an email response from the president within a couple of hours. By the end of the week, I received a new cord and replaced it within minutes.

While this kind of customer service is expected for such a high end piece of equipment, it seems like it’s becoming ever more rare these days.

Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase, and with the work out that I get from this machine. Knowing that they stand behind their equipment is a testament to me that Healthcare Int’l is also a great company.

** Make sure you get two tracking numbers, because this item ships in two SEPERATE boxes ** This will help if you only get one package at a time (this happened to me) and Amazon will show your order as complete. Amazon has no idea, even though I told them and so has the manufacture. The rower is great, though, and the sound the water makes adds to the effect. Get a seperate heart monitor if this is important to you, otherwise the monitor will do fine. Have only had for about 3 weeks and hope to have much longer. Appears to be well built.
